I lay in bed on a dark,
stormy night
I drift off to sleep, my mind
takes flight
I dream of places far
and near
I wish you could be here.

I hear your voice and
see your smile
I wish it would last
a little while
I sometimes wonder if
you ever knew...
That I lay in my bed,
